Sights to See: Sights to See

Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, & Fort Fisher in Pleasure Island

Pleasure Island on the southeastern coast of North Carolina boasts a number of attractions and sights to see, both on the island and in the surrounding area.  You'll want to leave room in your schedule to visit one or all of these unique and inspiring attractions.

Convene with nature and our native wildlife at the Carolina Beach State Park.  Go back in history at the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area.  See what's happening under the sea at the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher.  Or venture a little further to climb aboard the USS North Carolina World War II era Battleship.

We've complied these "Sights to See" resources to help you plan your trip to Pleasure Island or to simply help you take advantage of all that our area has to offer.  Be sure to also check our Visitor Information page to learn more about beach and area rules so you're well prepared for your visit.

We plan to add to our list of attractions over time but we have a great start with some of our most popular local and regional sights.
