Of course, our beach is wide, open and unspoiled, with all the elbowroom you could want for sunbathing, strolling, shelling, surfing or fishing. Our town is an angler’s Mecca, with annual fishing tournaments, bountiful surf fishing and boat launches nearby. Kure Beach Pier is one of the best fishing piers (over 711 feet long) on the East Coast. At our small town center, you’ll find the Kure Beach Pier, several excellent restaurants, a convenience store and amusements for the kids. You can walk to "town" or bike on a bike path from most of the accommodations in Kure Beach.
