Sunday Night At The Movies - Carolina Beach Lake - FRANKENWEENIE

From creative genius Tim Burton ("Alice in Wonderland," The Nightmare Before Christmas") comes "Frankenweenie," a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous.

A stop-motion animated film, "Frankenweenie" was filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which will elevate the classic style to a whole new experience.

We invite you to enjoy Free Movies at the Lake Sunday nights throughout the summer at Carolina Beach Lake Park. Bring your chairs and find a spot on the lawn where the whole family can enjoy newly released movies. This is a true summertime treat for adults and kids alike.

We are happy to offer popcorn, candy, soft drinks, cotton candy, and more for sale at the movies - and all for a reasonable price! You're welcome to bring your own food and beverages as well.

Directions: Once you cross Snow's Cut Bridge the Carolina Beach Lake is approximately 1 1/4 mile on your right

Movies start at dusk (around 8:45). Movies are subject to change and are weather permitting.
